Plastic Bags - Step by Step
Reusing plastic bags is great. Plastic bags taking over your cabinet is not so great. Here is a simple step-by-step guide to help you organize all of your grocery bags into one manageable container.
Step 1: Lay one grocery bag on a flat surface. Make sure you have plenty of room behind it for subsequent bags.
Step 2: Fold the grocery bag in half, matching the handles together. Squeeze all of the air out of the bag.
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 with another bag, and place the handles of the second bag on top of the first. The second bag should lay about halfway on top of the first bag.
Step 4: Continue the first three steps with the rest of the grocery bags so that you form a line.
Step 5: Grab the handles of the first grocery bag and angle it vertically.
Step 6: Begin rolling the bags as tightly as possible, making sure that the bags do not have any air in them. Roll until all of the bags are bound together.
Step 7: Place the rolled bags inside a cylindrical container, such as an empty Lysol Wipes container. The bags can now be pulled out one by one as needed.
